Welligama
We are located on the Polwatte River in Weligama.
Welligama Bay is a beautiful crescent set in the Indian Ocean.
It is an ideal spot to Surf, enjoy the beach, with views of 'Taprobane island' and 'She devil' island, to watch the stilt fishermen further up the bay, and buy fresh fish at the waters edge.
The surf is ideal for beginners and whalewatching excursions are available.
Local supermarkets, wine stores, and general shops are all located in the town, as well as lace making workshops which are traditional to the area.
There are a number of surf cafes serving healthy food, as well as local restaurants, and "roti" shops
Mirissa beach
Perfect for lunch, and dinner Mirissa has plenty of restaurants along the beachfront, whale watching is popular and turtle spotting over a lazy lunch is fun.
Galle Fort
This historic area is full of interesting, shops, boutiques restaurants and bars. Try the most delicious hand made icecream at Il Gelato, shop for unique housewares at Raux Brothers, or enjoy a quirky cocktail at The living Room. Explore the ramparts and the bustling markets outside the fort, including the Galle Flea Market on Saturdays.
